About Me
I have always loved weddings, but it wasn't until I had my own wedding that I realized how truly incredible weddings can be!! Watching my fiancée walk down that aisle with her father was one of the most amazing feelings that I have ever experienced and the photos that we have will help us remember those moments forever. The photo on the right is of my wife and I just moments after we exchanged our vows ... :D It is our wedding that inspired me to become a wedding photographer.
Your wedding day will be one of the greatest and most important days of your life and as your photographer I will work passionately to capture all of those moments that you will want to remember for the rest of your lives. This is your day to enjoy in anyway that you please, and I will be there to record it, not dictate nor stand in your way. Instead, I will keep it real and be mostly in the background as your wedding photojournalist with an edge.
What about portraits you ask? Of course, we will set aside some time for bride & groom and wedding party formals. Also, if there is a certain shot or shots that you must have, just let me know ahead of time and we'll take care of it.
I have an art degree from UC Santa Barbara, and I'm currently working on my masters thesis in Media Art Technology at UCSB.
I am also a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. There is a ton of great information on this site for brides as well as links to other great wedding photojournalists.
I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love, and as an artist, I am always striving to improve and try something new and creative. So don't panic if you see me rolling around on the ground ;)
